At the 2024 Annual Scholarship Presentation, the Foundation awarded in excess of $490,000 in scholarships to the graduates from Burnet CISD.
Hill Country Community Foundation Scholarship
Every Burnet High School and Quest High School Senior who applies receives a scholarship. The scholarships are calculated using a fixed base amount, plus incentive amounts based on the student's class rank and SAT scores. This year, some students will earn in excess of $5,500. Community Development Scholarship
In addition to the Hill Country Community Foundation Scholarships for graduating high school seniors, HCCF provides continuing scholarships to former HCCF scholarship recipients that are pursuing a bachelors degree and desire to return to the Burnet community after graduation from their college or university. This scholarship is called the Community Development Scholarship and is intended to support a student throughout the remainder of their college experience.
