For more than 35 years, the Hill Country Community Foundation has invested in the young people of Burnet CISD. In its inaugural year in 1983, the Foundation awarded four $500 scholarships for a total of $2000. Today, the Foundation awards over $300,000 in scholarships to more than 150 student each year. To date, the Foundation has awarded over 3,950 scholarships totaling $6,261,011.
