A MESSAGE FROM THE HILL COUNTRY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
We’ve received several questions recently and want to help clear up any confusion.
The Hill Country Community Foundation, based in Burnet, has a very specific mission- we are dedicated solely to providing scholarships for local students pursuing higher education. While our hearts are with all those affected by the recent flooding, we are not involved in any fundraising or relief efforts related to flood recovery, including the sale of t-shirts.
There is another organization with a similar name:
The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, based in Kerrville, is currently leading a campaign called Rebuild Kerr, which does include active fundraising to support flood victims in affected communities.
We are grateful for all the efforts underway to support those impacted by the floods and encourage anyone wishing to help with flood relief to visit https://www.communityfoundation.net to learn more about the Rebuild Kerr initiative.
